OmniAce Is Joining the Girl Got Power League
OSA teams will compete in the GGP Volleyball League — a 45+ team competitive elementary and club league spanning Cullman, Morgan, Lauderdale, Limestone, Franklin, and Colbert Counties. All skill levels welcome.

How It Works
Team placement for everyone
Evaluations are held for all grade levels. Players without a team are placed after evaluations. Established teams from Cullman City, County, or surrounding areas can register together through OSA.
Flexible game schedule
Schedules are released every Sunday to coaches. Travel is optional each week — coaches sign their team up when it works. Weekday play dates run 2 matches; Saturdays run 3. Matches are best 2 of 3 sets.
Coaching and development support
All OSA teams are coached by volunteer coaches, with training support from Blockout Academy staff and potential collaboration with Wallace State Volleyball. Play 12 games to qualify for the post-season Gold/Silver/Bronze bracket tournament.
Uniforms and equipment
Under Armour uniforms included. Custom team name and colors available at additional cost. Spandex or shorts — team's choice. Volley Lite balls are provided at games; each team brings their own warm-up balls.
Common Questions - GGP League FAQ
Can established teams join?
Yes — established teams from Cullman City, County, or surrounding areas can join GGP through OmniSports Academy and register together.
What if my daughter isn't on a team yet?
Evaluations are held for all grade levels — individuals and established teams. Any individual not already on a team will be placed on one after evaluations. All skill levels are welcome.
Do we have to travel every weekend?
No — travel is optional each weekend. Coaches decide week by week whether to sign their team up. Game schedules drop every Sunday to coaches.
How do we qualify for the post-season tournament?
Each team must play 12 games to qualify for the post-season tournament on September 26 at OmniPlex. The tournament uses Gold, Silver, and Bronze brackets. Weekday dates count as 2 games; Saturdays count as 3.
Who coaches the OSA teams?
All OSA teams are coached by volunteer coaches, with assistance from Blockout Academy staff and potentially the Wallace State Volleyball program.
What equipment is provided?
Volley Lite balls are used in all age divisions and are provided by OmniPlex at game sites. Teams are responsible for bringing their own warm-up balls when traveling.

Facility
Train and compete on 16 regulation indoor volleyball courts within the OmniPlex — one of the premier volleyball venues in the Southeast.
Age Groups
- 5–6 (Intro) – Movement, coordination, and playful skill discovery
- 7–10 (Foundations) – Core volleyball skills, rotation concepts, and teamwork
- 11+ (Advanced/Competitive) – Skill refinement, strategy, and game play preparation for school or club competition
