OSA REC+

Rec League Roots. Travel Team Competition.

REC+ is OSA's competitive pathway for players who are ready to take their game beyond the rec league level — running concurrently with the regular baseball season.

Why Rec Plus

REC+ is OSA's competitive pathway for players who are ready for more. It runs alongside the regular OSA season — not instead of it — so players get the best of both worlds: the community and consistency of rec league play, plus the challenge of competing against top programs across the region.

What makes REC+ different from a traditional all-star team is timing. Instead of throwing a team together at the end of the season from players who've never played alongside each other, REC+ begins at the start of the season with tryouts. That means real team chemistry, real practice time, and a roster that's ready to compete when it matters.

REC+ is available across all OSA sports — basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, and flag football. Whether a team comes together each season depends on tryout participation and interest, but the pathway is always open.

What to Expect

REC+ tryouts are evaluated by OSA-appointed judges. Selection is competitive and based solely on tryout performance within each age division. Not all players who attend tryouts will be selected.

Once selected, REC+ players are expected to participate in all regular season league activities in addition to REC+ events. Playing time and position assignments are not guaranteed. Each selected player receives an official OSA jersey. Coaching staff is appointed by OSA leadership.
